Regina Hiremath

Alimonia Life

Regina Hiremath is the founder of Alimonia Life. Having survived child abuse, she found herself in an emotionally abusive marriage for 20+ years. It wasn’t easy but she made the decision to file for divorce. During that time she did a lot of introspection and healing. Journaling, therapy, working out and taking care of herself were the pillars of her transformation.

Regina realized that there must be others who were going through the same challenges of divorce and she decided to start a divorce blog. She wrote under the alias Ali M as she was still healing. Eventually three other writers who are divorced were added to the blog. Knowing the need for connection, she added a private community on a secured network. It was time for Regina to become the face and voice of Alimonia Life.

It became clear to Regina that she needed to start speaking to be more effective. Shortly after that realization, she was asked to speak at The Gloves Off Abuse Symposium at The Pechanga Resort in Temecula, CA. This was a huge undertaking because she has had a lifelong fear of public speaking. Regina attributes purpose, passions and preparation for her delivery that day. The response of the attendees gave her the validation that she needed. If that wasn’t enough the invitation to teach a workshop at a women’s wellness conference cemented it. She wrote a workbook titled Bridge Over Brokenness for the conference and had the chance to work with those who were currently going through divorce.

Regina has been a live show panelist and a podcast guest. She loves to share her story and experience to uplift others. She attends community events as a vendor where she can connect with people on a personal level. So many people are going through divorce and hiding in the shadows. It is Regina’s mission to change the perception of divorce. One of her greatest passions is supporting those who are contemplating, going through and struggling after divorce. Regina’s story is transformational but beyond that it is a testament to women’s empowerment.

Regina has a heart for domestic violence victims and the cause. This fall she will be the keynote speaker for Confronting Domestic Violence’s Gala Fundraiser. In Del Mar, CA. They provide relocation services for victims and their children. The organization offered Regina a board seat and she has accepted the position where she heads up community relations.

Regina Hiremath volunteered to come and speak to the students at Milan Institute. Her speech was one of true empowerment, encouragement, and motivation. She left a lasting impression, not only with the students, but also the faculty. I heard from several people how her speech brought them to tears. After meeting her for the first time ever, I am compelled to say she is truly walking in her purpose and calling.

Then our first speaker, Regina, had a great combination of head and heart for her presentation. The perfect speech for the other speakers to follow, so the audience knew what to expect. She doesn't look like what she's been through (none of you speakers do for that matter) and she took command of the stage even coming from behind the podium on more than one occasion - a seasoned speaker move! So, no it didn't come across looking like this was your first speaking engagement! Gloves Off!!!
